Linsco are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to start work in Derby.

You will oversee and manage the construction of a new mental health facility on a hospital site. The successful candidate must have a strong background in roofing and cladding and will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities related to the new build mental health facility, with a specific focus on roofing and cladding.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient work flow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, updates, and documentation to project stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and hospital representatives, to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Manage and document all site-related activities, including daily reports, material deliveries, and labour allocation.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role, with a strong background in roofing and cladding.
  • Experience working on health care facilities or similar complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to roofing and cladding.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management, health and safety, and project management. (CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid)
