Linsco are currently recruiting for a site manager to start work for a reputable client of ours in the East Yorkshire area.

You will be required to manage and coordinate all aspects of construction on our housing projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient work flow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage and document all site-related activities, including daily reports, material deliveries, and labour allocation.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the site team, head office, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant building regulations and codes.
  • Address any resident concerns or issues that arise during the construction phase, ensuring a positive experience for future homeowners.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management, health and safety, and project management (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
