Site Manager

Linsco have a fantastic new opportunity for a Site Manager to oversee the installation of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) on a BTR (Build-to-Rent) new build project in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation team on site, liaising with the Main Contractor, attending daily meetings, managing health and safety on site, managing deliveries, quality control and snagging, room sign off and handover to the main contractor, and liaising with the internal project team to ensure the timely delivery of required materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation team on site and ensure they meet the project requirements and deadlines
  • Liaise with the Main Contractor to coordinate the installation process
  • Attend daily meetings to update the project team on progress and report any issues
  • Manage health and safety on site, including conducting toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Manage deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and in the correct quantity
  • Conduct quality control and snagging checks to ensure that work meets the required standards
  • Sign off completed rooms and handover to the main contractor
  • Liaise with the internal project team to ensure timely delivery of required materials

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • SMSTS certification
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Previous experience in fit-out installation of new build residential apartment blocks or student accommodation is preferable
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing teams on site
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to manage risk on site
  • Ability to manage deliveries and ensure materials are delivered on time and in the correct quantity
