Senior Quantity Surveyor

Summary:
Linsco are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a Refurbishment and Rebuild Contract for a client of ours in the Hertfordshire area. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of commercial services on multiple sites across the London and Essex
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing frameworks with local authorities and housing associations
- Pricing of building construction works, with focus on refurbishment and external works
- Management of supply chain partners
- Management of Defined Cost and pain/gain trackers
- Preparing subcontract documents and procure subcontract packages
- Assessing and processing subcontractor payments and liabilities
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive knowledge of refurbishment, external and rebuild projects primarily within social housing ideally with a main contractor background.
- Understanding and experience of working on frameworks
- Engagement with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders and third parties
- Leadership qualities and proven experience supervising a commercial team.
- Advanced user of MS Office, with particular experience in Excel/Project
