About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading new build housing company in their East Yorkshire region. Based around the Hessle area, you will support the commercial team in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of allocated new build housing developments.
- Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Work closely with site teams to provide commercial support.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the new build housing sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
- Availability for a freelance/contract role in the Hessle area.
