Linsco are currently recruiting for an External Facade Manager to start work on a construction site in Longbridge.

You will be required to oversee and manage all aspects of the external facade works on a housing development site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of high-quality external finishes, including hot melt roofing, building envelope, windows, steel frame systems, brickwork, and hard landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead and manage the external facade works from planning to completion.
    • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
    • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  2. Hot Melt Roofing:

    • Oversee the installation of hot melt roofing systems.
    • Ensure all roofing work meets specified standards and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
  3. Building Envelope:

    • Manage the construction and installation of the building envelope.
    • Ensure weatherproofing and thermal insulation are to specifications.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  4. Windows Installation:

    • Supervise the installation of windows, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
    • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
    • Resolve any installation issues promptly.
  5. Steel Frame Systems:

    • Oversee the erection of steel frame systems.
    • Ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
    • Manage the integration of steel frames with other building components.
  6. Brickwork:

    • Manage the planning and execution of brickwork.
    • Ensure brickwork meets aesthetic and structural standards.
    • Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used.
  7. Hard Landscaping:

    • Oversee all hard landscaping activities, including paving, pathways, and outdoor structures.
    • Ensure the landscaping integrates well with the overall site design.
    • Manage landscaping teams to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
  8. Health & Safety:

    • Enforce health and safety regulations on site.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
    • Ensure all team members and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols.
  9. Quality Control:

    • Implement quality control procedures for all facade works.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
    • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Key Qualifications:

  • CSCS (black or gold)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
