Setting out Engineer

Linsco are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to start work on a construction sites near Warrington and the North.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, levelling, and surveying the site, ensuring that all designs and specifications are accurately implemented.

CSCS card essential and you must have your own kit.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Interpret and implement construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate setting out of works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager.

Technical Oversight:

• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and assessments to determine project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
• Use a variety of surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
• Promote a culture of safety among the construction team.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built records.
