Senior Quantity Surveyor

Up to £75,000 plus package
Summary:
Linsco are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on new build commercial and residential projects for main contractor a client in the Leeds/West Yorkshire area. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of commercial services on multiple sites across county.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing commercial aspects and cost of large value projects
- Pricing of building construction works, subcontractor works, internal and external works
- Management of supply chain partners
- Management of Defined Cost and pain/gain trackers
- Preparing subcontract documents and procure subcontract packages
- Assessing and processing subcontractor payments and liabilities
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive knowledge of new build commercial or residential projects primarily within Tier 1 or Main Contractor background.
- Understanding and experience of working on JCT or NEC contract forms
- Engagement with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders and third parties
- Leadership qualities and proven experience supervising a commercial team.
- Advanced user of MS Office, with particular experience in Excel/Project
