Mechanical Works Night Shift Supervisor

Isle of Grain, ME3

£300-£400 per day - NO CIS

Linsco are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Works Night Shift Supervisor for 10 months work. Start Date 11/9/23.

Working hours 8pm - 6am

Must have CSCS card.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the project, the majority of on-site construction activities are outsourced. The Mechanical (Tank, Piping, structure) construction supervisor must ensure that the project rules are properly understood and applied by the subcontractor(s). Also, He is the guarantor that the subcontractor is carrying out the project in accordance with the QHSE requirement and the rules of art.
  • Supervise the Subcontractors
  • Is aware of the Project HSE rules, Quality requirement and technical documentation and ensure that the subcontractor comply with it.
  • Is aware and follow the project time schedule.
  • Supervise, as further described, the activities of Mechanical (Tank, Piping, structure) Construction assigned to site Subcontractors.
  • Maintain close contact with the Subcontractor construction supervisors to ensure free flow of information.
  • Review and comment the documents prepared by Subcontractor to perform the works.
  • Highlight Subcontractor deviations to QA/QC and SHE rules.
  • Report the possible technical problems and suggest solutions.
  • Make sure the Subcontractor performs as per applicable project documents (IFC drawings, specs, etc.);
  • Participate to construction meetings, site coordination meetings or other meetings he could be invited to.
  • Optimise all interfaces with other parties on Site.
  • Provide information to Construction management to facilitate interface coordination with the Partners.
  • Follow the progress of work and inform the Construction Manager of noticeable deviation on work schedule.
  • Check the daily the quantities produced by the Subcontractor Have a prompt application of decisions taken by EVT management.
  • Liaise with EVT HSE Manager, Quality Manager, to provide and get information.
  • Report to Project Construction Manager.
