We're looking for a Freelance Construction Logistics Site Manager for a 12 week car park project in Preston. If you can juggle labour, deliveries, and materials without breaking a sweat, our client wants you on their team. Experience with concrete and steel frame projects or car parks, is a desirable or experience on large projects from value of £10m +.
Responsibilities:
Labour Management:
- Oversee the on-site
- Assign tasks and make sure everyone follows safety standards.
- Ensuring pathways and walkways are clear.
Deliveries:
- Schedule and manage deliveries.
- Check delivery quantities and quality
- Handle any supplier issues
Qualifications:
- SMSTS or Equivalent (SSSTS may be considered)
- Proven experience in construction logistics, desirably with concrete and steel frame projects or car parks.
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines without losing your cool.
- Valid driver's license; forklift skills are a bonus
