Linsco is working with a housing compnay who are looking for several joiners on a temporary contarct.
The role will be for 3 weeks, however this may be extended. Fantastic rate of pay and my clients is offering a immediate start for the right candidates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work with a variety of materials and tools. As a Joiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site, including masons and electricians.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required.
- Use power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools relevant to joinery and carpentry.
- Strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials.
- Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper alignment.
- Experience in masonry work is advantageous.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for integrated projects.
- Competence in painting and finishing techniques to enhance final products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
