Town Planner - New Build

My Client is a National Housing Developer looking for an experienced Planner to join there innovative team. The role will be covering Suffolk.
To be considered for this role you must have a solid knowledge and understanding of the planning process. Preferably you will have a good local knowledge of the area and experience either within a town planning support role or worked for a reputable House Builder or Council. Strong negotiation skills, time management and a methodological way of thinking are a must.
The Planner will be responsible for:
The ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate a full understanding of the planning system, particularly the procedures involved in the identification and promotion of residential land and in the management of planning applications both at outline stage and reserved matters stage.
They will need a clear understanding of planning legislation and national policy, both new and emerging, that will affects the delivery of the supply of land for housing and the detail of residential schemes that are promoted.
They will also need to have a clear grasp of working thought the planning application process to deliver implementable planning consent(s) and enable a start on site. Therefore knowledge of technical and commercial requirements of discharging conditions and working with S106 agreements is also required.
Effective professional and social skills are essential, as the role will involve working with a diverse range of people, including landowners, public and private sector professionals as well as politicians and local residents.
