My Client is a contractor with proven end-to-end project lifecycle expertise. They serve a broad spectrum of private and public sector clients, ensuring they realise their vision by providing a more holistic approach to project design, build, management and delivery. They are an established, mature business with the resources and infrastructure to deliver larger, more challenging projects with a value up to £30 million.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing Industrial Shed builds amongst over projects.

My client have a diverse portfolio of projects across the Midlands operating within the Health & Care, Civil Engineering, Commercial and Industrial, Education, Leisure, Residential, Property and Developments sectors

Key tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with both sales, design and contracts teams in delivering precise and on-budget projects;
  • Liaise and co-ordinate works with customer and design team;
  • Manage design process and issue of project information;
  • Attend design, project and client meetings;
  • Ensure both subcontract and direct labour is well planned and coordinated;
  • Manage and implement Health and Safety procedures on site; Including preparation of construction phase plans, risk assessments and method statements;
  • Ensure that direct labour and subcontractors deliver works within the requirements of the project specification and drawings;
  • Assist in negotiation and procurement of subcontract works packages;
  • Assist project quantity surveyor in the formulation of interim and final accounts both upstream and downstream;
  • Assist with carrying out site surveys and scoping of fit out and shell works;
  • Implement site procedures and processes in line with contractors ethos;
  • Measure and procure materials plant and labour on projects in support of project quantity surveyor;
  • Ensure a quality product is delivered for all our customers;
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe site;
  • Carry out construction programming and prepare works schedules. Including resource planning / scheduling;

  • Excellent time management;
  • Good IT and Commercial Management Skills;
  • Full driving licence
  • IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
  • CSCS card
  • First aid
  • Microsoft projects
