We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to be based in Winchester working on our Southern Water contract covering multiple sites in the Hampshire area. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, this also includes being part of an on-call rota. On offer is a salary banding of £28,000 - £36,610, dependant on skills and experience and benefits package.
You will work closely with the Southern Water Helpdesk to deliver high working standards and safe maintenance practices in the delivery of the TFM (Total Facilities Management) services, delivering on the terms of our Southern Water contract we have in place.
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will join the team and produce high quality building maintenance work keeping in line with the standards required working for Equans and Southern Water. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer working across sites in the Hampshire area you will be part of a team of skilled engineers as the face of Equans, so good customer service skills will be essential.
What will you deliver?
- You will ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant equipment
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
- Any plant faults and defects are always swiftly remedied to maintain smooth running of plant operations
- Complete Method Statements and Risk Assessments & that they are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken
- Develop & maintain a good working relationship with all members of EQUANS staff, subcontractors and the client representatives
- You will be required to provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity

Who are we looking for?
- Base Electrical Qualification C&G (City & Guilds)
- 18th Edition
- Electrical Competency NICEIC Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification
- BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering / BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BTEC Level 3 in HVAC (Any of these qualifications)
- C&G (City & Guilds) Level 2 Heating and Ventilation or C&G Level 3
- Experienced in Plumbing system maintenance and fault rectification
- Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems
