Linsco are currently recruiting for a Data Administrator. This role involves providing support to the Project Management Team in the delivery of core IT systems, including the use of CAFM systems, databases, entering and reviewing data, and processing documentation accurately.

The successful applicant must be a good team player with strong IT skills and an active interest in the application of IT in the Business environment. An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office and SQL reporting would be an advantage. Good telephone techniques, communication skills and organisational skills are also important, with an attention to detail.

The post is based at Whiston Hospital but may involve working occasionally at the Denton office for training/development etc.

Duties:

  • Managing and administering PDA hardware and systems.
  • Dealing with any IT general requests from the customer or the project team.
  • Liaising with the IT department regarding site IT systems.
  • On site contact/expert for all IT queries and assisting the on-site management team with IT hardware/software issues.
  • Producing reports in line with operational needs. Key owner of the monthly service performance report for the client on both Projects.
  • Entering, reviewing data, processing documentation accurately. All in accordance with procedures to ensure information systems are kept up to date.
  • Working alongside the Estates team in ensuring that data entered on the CAFM system is accurate and up to date. e.g. PPM schedules, allocation of work orders to the correct crafts, locations etc.
  • Working alongside the helpdesk and admin teams in ensuring that any data requests are added into the CAFM system correctly and accurately.
  • Ensuring that IT is used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the production of work and bring added value to the business, especially with admin processes.
  • Training of all key users and stakeholders in the implementation/roll out of any new IT systems
  • Be the lead person on site for the implementation of any new CAFM system, and develop action plans for its successful roll out.
