About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Roadworks Surfacing Contracts Manager to manage road surfacing projects across Yorkshire on a temporary basis. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roadworks projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards. This position is ideal for someone with experience in roadworks and surfacing who excels at project coordination and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all stages of road surfacing projects, from initial planning through to final delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and address any issues as they arise.
- Prepare and submit project reports, providing updates on progress and performance.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in roadworks, surfacing, or construction contracts management.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to roadworks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt to project demands.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
