Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Roofing and Cladding

Location: Nottingham

Type: Full-time

Salary: £25k - £35k (DOE)

Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing roofing and cladding projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in the management of budgets and schedules. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:

    • Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of roofing and cladding projects.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Site Management:

    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • Assist in the resolution of on-site issues and conflicts.
    • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Budget and Schedule Management:

    • Help in the preparation and management of project budgets.
    • Track project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Reporting:

    • Prepare and distribute regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
    • Facilitate effective communication among project team members.
    • Assist in conducting project meetings and briefings.

    • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety procedures on site.
