Skills cards in construction

If you work in construction, you must have a CSCS card.

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is to enable construction workers and managers prove that they are competent to do their job and have adequate health and safety awareness.

In fact, many sites and job contracts will not permit workers to operate without the correct CSCS card.

All Linsco candidates work in the construction environment and are required to have a valid one before work can be offered to you.

If you don't have you, you will need one. The CSCS website is where you can apply to get yours.

Payment types

Following the HMRC guidelines, we are currently only offering assignments to temporary workers on the following methods

  • PAYE - on a contract for service with all deductions made at source
  • PSC - where you provide a personal service through your own Ltd Company and provide invoices weekly
  • Via a third party bureau - only as PAYE

We do not offer CIS in construction, as our clients are observing the right to supervision direction and control.
