Mental health can often be a topic we would rather not talk about or even consider.
However as part of our commitment to providing absolute care for our employees Linsco are one of very few companies to have staff trained in mental health.
Within the company we have two senior managers , Natalie Evans (Director) & Stacey Lapworth (Compliance & Office Operations Manager) who have recently completed a mental health awareness course enabling them to provide one off or continued support for our employees.
Linsco are one of the first companies of their size within the region to have members of staff that have received this kind of training which was delivered by mental health first aid England (MHFA).
"The aim of the course is to teach people to spot the symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial help and guide a person towards support. They do teach people to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis - and even potentially stop a crisis from happening. the welfare of our staff is taken very seriously and this is another way of us being able to provide support" - Stacey Lapworth.
