Congratulations to Linsco Key Accounts Manager Matt Wheat who recently took part in the Kier 2020 Challenge.
This year Building UK are aiming to raise over £200k for charity, the event will link up all regional businesses and is open to everyone to take part.
Starting at the most northerly Kier site on Orkney the challenge is to link up each regional business on a green journey that takes in all offices and as many sites as possible, all within a 2020 time limit and by using non-motorised forms of transport only with the baton already travelling over 500 miles before reaching Matt.
For Matt's part of the challenge he teamed up with Kier employee's Phil Shaw & Matt Bray and completed a grueling cycle ride from Nottingham to the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
Once arriving in Leicester the challenge didn’t stop there, the team had to pass on the baton to the next team who continued the journey to Rugby in Warwickshire.
Congratulations to all that have taken part in the challenge raising valuable funds for their selected charities.
