Charity and local community

Each year, Linsco make great efforts to support local charities and community projects.
 The Nottinghamshire Hospice

In 2012 we have adopted the Nottinghamshire Hospice as our dedicated Charity for our efforts.

We are fundraising throughout the year and are keen to put some support into the local community in this way. Our members of staff are all geared up to raise awareness and funds to help the Hospice in their work in Nottingham.

Some ways of raising funds are being prepared for as we start the year. Three of our staff are entering the Strictly Learn to Dance competition that our Managing Director won last year ! He has set the bar for them and we wish them all the very best in learning their new found skills. Watch updates here

Others will be riding and walking for Charity, and will be cycling across Europe, climbing the Peaks and riding from Skegness back to Nottingham in ways to raise awareness for the Hospice. 

Another way is by running incentives to clients to promote the Hospice, we shall be running monthly client incentives to show how we care and during some months, a percentage of the amount earned in fees, will be donated to the hospice in show of how we wish to support it.

Supporting the local Community

In the daily business that we partake in, Linsco always source local labour for local jobs.

We use the benefit of our own extensive database to search for suitable candidates local to the project or client in question. If that fails we start the process of utilising our contacts and suppiers local to the area we are providing services to, so that the community benefits and our impact on the environment from travelling is reduced. 

We always seek to source local suppliers to our own office to ensure that the community benefits from our operations, including materials, stationery, supplies and promotional material.

Our in house database has over 28,000 people registered in the Nottingham area alone, and we wish to help them get work in the local area. 
We advertise most vacancies in the Local Job Employer Direct offices, making sure we use the local resources to the best advantage, for them.
