PLATINUM AWARD
Health and Safety is of prime importance to our operatives whilst on site, and we are totally committed to the Construction CSCS Card scheme promoting awareness of the importance of Health and Safety on site. Linsco are proud to have achieved a Silver Committment to CSCS certificate in May 2007, and this year we targetted the Gold Certificate.
We have the results of our Audit in March 2010, and are very happy to announce that we have been awarded the Platinum Award for our Committment to CSCS. This means we have more than 90% of our workforce registered under the CSCS Scheme, which exceeds our targets set.
Any potential candidate looking for work must now carry a valid CSCS card to even be allowed to access the majority of our clients projects, so unless you carry one, you will not be offered some of the latest long term positions.
You may apply for a CSCS test by contacting the CSCS at their website
You will also require to have the correct Personal Protective Equipment, including a Hard Hat, Steel toecap Boots (not riggers), a High Visibility vest and gloves. Linsco can provide this before you start on site, however we do charge for it, please call for details.

Linsco are committed to making sure our operatives are safe on site. We are also concerned about their health too, and are keen to put the Health back into 'Health and Safety'
We are applying for membership to 'Constructing Better Health' scheme, which covers occupational health for those in risk areas of work. For more details see www.constructingbetterhealth.co.uk
